The Egyptian Media Production City Company (EMPC) has begun building and equipping its Media Services Center studios with 4K technologies, with plans to broadcast international news channels operating in Egypt in 4K within the near future.
This comes under the EMPC’s policy to develop and modernize the center, equipping it with the latest technologies to keep pace with the rapid global developments in broadcasting and television transmission.
The Media Services Center is one of the headquarters of EMPC and was established for the purpose of broadcasting foreign and Arab channels residing in Egypt in accordance with the law regulating the press and media, which stipulates not broadcasting from outside the approved media areas.
The center is located in downtown Cairo with a unique view of the Nile.
Its studios are equipped with all the technological means and capabilities that allow news channels to broadcast programs in high quality.
