6th April movement hold exhibition at Cairo University

Security forces yesterday surrounded Cairo University's main gate when the 6th of April movement launched an exhibition trying to raise students' awareness regarding the seven reform requests demanded by the National Association for Change and sundry Egyptian opposition movements.

The exhibition was launched at the Faculty of Commerce as part of the “You’re the solution” campaign, which criticizes the current regime.

More than 25 central security trucks lined up in front of the university. Other forces in civil uniforms surrounded the campus.

The Muslim Brotherhood had previously launched a “Reformers” campaign to introduce their thoughts and objectives, and Muslim Brotherhood students from nine other universities raised banners with quotes from and photos of Hassan al-Banna, founder of the Brotherhood. The banners also displayed photos of Mohamed Badie, the current Brotherhood supreme guide, and head of Hamas' politburo Khaled Meshaal.

Campaigners played songs that praised al-Banna and MB ideology.
