84 defendants in Ramses Square clashes released pending investigation

North Cairo Criminial Court upheld a decision to release 84 defendants in Fateh Mosque clashes pending investigation.
 
Azbakeya prosecutor accused the defendants of murder, attempted murder, assembling, thuggery, joining a terrorist organization, disturbing public peace and security and disrupting traffic on 18 July at Fateh Mosque in Ramses during clashes with the police.
 
The defendants have been accused as well of setting fire to a branch for the Arab Contractors’ Company near Ramses Square.
 
The defendants meanwhile denied accusations during interrogations saying they were arrested randomly.
