U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry said his country wishes every success to Egypt`s current government, adding that Americans need to feel comfortable with the Egyptian government they are supporting.
Kerry said in press statements following his arrival in Malaysia on Thursday that the U.S. decision to halt some aid to Egypt does not mean that Washington is cutting ties with Cairo.
Kerry pointed out that the transitional government in Egypt understands well that the U.S. is committed to its success, but needs to see results first.
