Stock market loses LE1.2 bn

Egyptian stock indices fell collectively at the end of Wednesday’s trading.

The benchmark EGX 30 index fell by 0.42 percent to 9,718.75 points and market capitalization lost LE1.2 billion to close at LE524.8 billion.
 
The small and medium stocks EGX 70 index fell by 0.96 percent to 619.84 points, while the broader EGX 100 index rose by 0.41 percent to 1,142.34 points. 
 
Total trading reached LE651.54 million on 129.16 million shares in 22,061 transactions.
 
Arab and foreign investors bought for LE8.7 million and LE43.14 million respectively, while Egyptian investors sold for LE51.85 million.
