Rumors are rife that Beyonce could become the latest addition to Marvel's cinematic franchise.
According to The Daily Star in the UK, the recording artist is in talks with Marvel and Disney to appear in the next instalments of the "Avenger" series due out in 2018 and 2019.
The British tabloid cites an unnamed senior executive at movie distributor Disney, who expressed interest in casting Beyoncé as a character from Marvel's existing catalogue of comic characters.
Beyoncé would join Scarlett Johansson who plays Black Widow and Elizabeth Olsen who plays the Scarlet Witch.
In a rundown of casting possibilities, the Star surmises that Beyoncé could play everyone from Blink, a heroine who can teleport herself and others anywhere; to Tiger, a cat-like crime fighter; and Boom-Boom, who can create lethal plasma bombs with her mind.
