187 Egyptian citizens have been able to travel back to Egypt safely via the Salloum border crossing with Libya since Monday morning, according to a security official.
Hesham Lotfy, Matrouh Security chief, said in press statements early on Tuesday, that 63 illegal migrants were included in this group.
Egyptian authorities have warned against migration to Libya since the killing of 21 Egyptians in February by the Islamic State.
Thousands of Egyptians have left Libya since the eruption of violence following the ouster of late president Muammar Qadhafi in 2011.
