The Egyptian authorities opened the Rafah crossing on Thursday to transfer the body of a dead Palestinian from Egypt to the Gaza Strip.
Egyptian authorities said the crossing was opened to transfer the body of Eshaq Khalil Hassan, who was killed on December 24 in Egypt.
Hassan's body will be handed over to his family in the Gaza Strip for burial.
