Meteorologists expect mild weather across most parts of Egypt on Saturday to continue. Warmer weather is anticipated in southern Upper Egypt during the day with mild to cold temperatures in all regions in the evening.
Mist will affect visibility in the morning in different parts to the north of the country. Low and medium level cloud cover is predicted on the North Coast, accompanied by light rain in Salloum and most of Matruh governorate.
Winds are expected to be mostly northwesterly and moderate in strength, active in South Sinai, the Gulf of Suez and the Red Sea, possibly disrupting maritime navigation.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate and range from between 1.5 to 2 meters in height, with rougher waves in the Red Sea, ranging between 2 to 2.5 meters in height. Surface winds will be northwesterly in both seas.
Maximum temperatures predicted for the following cities are as follows; 28C in Cairo and 26C in Alexandria, 31C in Qena, 32C in Luxor, and 33C in Aswan.
