The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) forecasts temperatures to continue rising across the nation.
Slightly hot and humid weather is expected at night and during the early morning hours, and very hot and humid conditions during the day in most areas.
Hot and humid conditions are expected along the northwestern coast.
The EMA explained that the high humidity levels will increase the perceived temperature, causing it to exceed the actual recorded temperatures.
Greater Cairo is expected to reach a high of 39C, with a perceived temperature of 41C. Northern Upper Egypt will see a high of 41C and a perceived temperature of 43C.
Southern Upper Egypt will experience a high of 43C and a perceived temperature of 44C, the highest nationwide.
The EMA added that there is a slight chance of low cloud formation over scattered areas of the northeastern coast, southern Lower Egypt, Greater Cairo, and the Suez Canal cities, which may be accompanied by light, insignificant rain in some areas.
Satellite imagery predicted intermittent wind activity over parts of the northwestern coast and northern Lower Egypt, which will contribute to cooler temperatures at night.
There is also a possibility of sand and dust storms in some exposed areas from northern Egypt, extending to Greater Cairo, northern Upper Egypt, and parts of the Western Desert.
