Meteorologists expect hot weather on Sunday across Egypt, with the highest temperatures south of Upper Egypt, while growing cooler along the north coast and at night.
Temperatures predicted are 40C in Aswan, 41C in Luxor, 40C in Qena, 35C in Cairo and 24C in Alexandria.
Low-level clouds will appear over the northern parts of the country.
Mist will affect visibility on roads in the north in the morning.
Winds are expected to be mostly northwesterly and moderate in strength. They will be active throughout the south and South Sinai, in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Suez, affecting maritime navigation there.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate and range between 1 to 1.5 meters in height, with rougher waves in the Red Sea around 2.5 to 3 meters in height. Surface winds will be northwestern in both seas.
