Chairman of the Egyptian Meteorological Authority Ahmed Abdel Aal announced on Monday that Egypt is expected to witness very low temperatures starting from Thursday until Saturday.
Low and medium-level clouds are anticipated to increase across the country, accompanied by heavy rains on Wednesday and Thursday in Lower Egypt, Cairo, Suez Canal cities, North Sinai and Center of Sinai.
Thunderous rains are expected to cover specific areas, Abdal Aal added.
Winds would be active in the country’s northern parts and affect visibility in some areas, and unstable weather may disturb maritime navigation in the Mediterranean Sea.
Temperatures predicted for Thursday are 17C to 18C at the northeast coasts and North Sinai, 16C to 17C for the northwest coasts, Lower Egypt and Cairo, 17C to 18C north of Upper Egypt, 21C to 22C south of Upper Egypt and 22C to 23C in South Sinai.
