Meteorologists expect cold weather and rains at northern Egypt, Lower Egypt and Cairo on Sunday.
Weather will be moderate at northern Upper Egypt, warmer in southern Upper Egypt during daylight hours and growing very cold at night throughout the entire country.
Mist will affect visibility in the morning across Lower Egypt, Cairo up until northern Upper Egypt. Low and medium-level clouds are expected, accompanied by rains in the northern coasts, Lower Egypt while rainfall will be light in Cairo.
Maximum temperatures predicted for the following cities are 17C in Alexandria, 18C in Cairo, 20C in Qena, 21C in Luxor and 22C in Aswan.
Winds will be mostly north western and moderate, active in northern and southern Upper Egypt, South Sinai, the Red Sea and the Gulf of Suez, disturbing the maritime navigation there.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate and range between 1.5 to 2 meters in height, with rougher waves in the Red Sea at around 2.5 to 3 meters in height. Surface winds will be northwesterly for both seas.
