Meteorologists expect a slight decrease in temperatures on Thursday, with moderate weather across Egypt’s northern parts up until north Upper Egypt.
Mildly hot temperatures are expected across southern Upper Egypt, especially in the daytime. The weather will grow colder at night throughout the country.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 28C in Alexandria, 30C in Cairo and 34C in Qena, Luxor, and Aswan.
Mist will impact visibility in the morning in the northern parts of the country up until northern Upper Egypt.
Low- and medium-level clouds are anticipated across most parts of the country, accompanied by rainfall along the north coast, Lower Egypt and Cairo.
Thunderstorms and heavy rainfall are expected along the Red Sea mountain range and some parts of Sinai.
Winds will be northeastern and moderate.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate to turbulent, ranging between two and 2.5 meters in height. Surface winds on the Mediterranean Sea will be northeastern.
Waves in the Red Sea will be light to moderate, ranging between one and 1.5 meters in height.
Surface winds on the Red Sea will be southeastern.
