The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts rainy, dusty weather on Sunday.
The weather will be warm during the day in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, and the eastern coasts, moderately cold on the western coasts, warm in South Sinai and northern Upper Egypt, and hot in southern Upper Egypt.
It will grow colder at night and early in the morning in most areas.
The EMA explained that 12 governorates are witnessing moderate chances of rain, growing more intense in the northwestern coasts, northern Lower Egypt, the Suez Canal cities, and northern Upper Egypt, with active winds in Greater Cairo.
The authority warned citizens and travelers of dusty wind activity and the presence of suspended dust, in Beheira, Alexandria, Kafr el-Sheikh, Matrouh, Damietta, Dakahlia, Fayoum, Gharbia, Sharqia, Minya, Beni Suef, and Menoufia.
Temperatures expected for Sunday:
- Alexandria: 20C
- Cairo: 22C
- Sharm el-Sheikh and Hurghada: 25C
- Luxor: 28C
- Aswan: 29C
