Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly opened Monday the 3rd edition of the International Manufacturing Convention and Exhibition (IMCE) organized by the Federation of Industries, at the Al-Manara International Conference and Exhibition Center.
The three-day event will witness the participation of 18 industrial and production sectors, representing the backbone of the country’s economic sectors.
The exhibition aims to support international collaborative initiatives between industrial entities at the regional levels (Arab, African, Euro-Mediterranean and international) to contribute to achieving sustainable economic development.
The forum addresses challenges facing the industrial sector, along with mechanisms meant to direct efforts towards a better industrial future, in addition to enhancing investment and achieving economic development, activating partnerships and cooperation with economic and industrial entities in Arab, African and European countries.
The role of private sector’s institutions in preparing and developing qualified technical cadres for the local and international labor market, in cooperation with the relevant State bodies will also figure high on the gathering’s agenda.
