Fabrizio Romano reveals value of Omar Marmoush’s transfer deal to City

An Italian journalist specializing in player transfers, Fabrizio Romano revealed on Saturday the value of the transfer deal for Egyptian international Omar Marmoush from Eintracht Frankfurt to Manchester City.

Marmoush bid farewell to his teammates and fans after Friday’s match against Borussia Dortmund, before moving to Manchester City.

Romano wrote in a post on his official account on X platform that the “Final package for Omar Marmoush to Man City will be worth €80 million add-ons included, as planned.”

German press reports announced Marmoush’s salary with his new club, Manchester City.

According to German journalist Florian Plettenberg of Sky Sport, Marmoush’s official salary, as stated in the contracts, will range between €16-17 million in total, including taxes, annually at Manchester City, which is equivalent to €10 million net annually that Marmoush will receive.

Plettenberg said that the Egyptian striker currently receives two million euros annually with his current club.

He also confirmed that Manchester City will pay €75 million as a fixed payment in addition to five million euros as potential bonus payments.
