
Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigration Badr Abdelatty asserted on Wednesday 19/2/2025 that Egypt drew up a comprehensive and multi-stage vision for the early recovery and reconstruction of the Gaza Strip.
This came in a phone call between Abdelatty and Bulgarian Foreign Minister Georg Georgiev where they tackled means to boost cooperation between both countries in the different domains of mutual interest especially the fields of economy, trade and investment.
Abdelatty said that Egypt is looking forward to Bulgaria’s support inside the institutions of the European Union including approving the second tranche of the European support package, valued at four billion euros.
Both sides emphasized resuming joint action to boost bilateral relations via intensifying official visits and activating different mechanisms of cooperation and preparations for holding political consolations between the foreign ministries of both countries.
The call also tackled the latest regional developments of mutual interest and exchanging points of view on the latest developments in the Gaza Strip.
They agreed on the importance of continuing consultations and coordination between both countries in the regional and international gatherings for the interest of both countries.
