Sisi: Egypt moving at steady well-thought-out pace in all fields

President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi said that Egypt is moving at a steady, stable, and well-thought-out pace in all fields.

Egypt has been going through tiring times over the past 15 years, Sisi added during an annual Ramadan Iftar (Sunset breakfast) banquet organized by the Armed Forces on Monday.

The president said Egypt is losing from $800 million to $900 million on a monthly basis due to regional issues and maritime shipping disruptions.

President Sisi confirmed that the International Monetary Fund approves Egypt’s economic measures, calling this a positive sign.

Statements by the Central Bank Governor are reassuring, despite all challenges, he added.

Sisi emphasized that the army and police are key pillars of Egypt’s security and stability, highlighting the challenges Egypt faces due to the crises in Sudan, Libya, and other regions.

He stressed that the state is progressing and will continue to do so, reassuring everyone that conditions are improving, thanks to God’s blessings, the hardworking Egyptian people, and the assiduous efforts of all institutions.

President Sisi asserted that television channels and series that offer positive, serious and good content to audiences are always welcome.

He emphasized that society is built on key pillars: the family, media, mosque, church, and education, which are essential for ensuring its stability, strength, and resilience.

Sisi urged sociology and psychology professors to examine these elements and find ways to address them effectively in the media and drama.

The Armed Forces’ annual iftar banquet was attended by key figures including Speaker of the House if Representatives Hanafi Gebaly, Speaker of the Senate Abdel Wahab Abdel Razek, Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Minister of Defense General Abdel Megeed Sakr, Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Dr Ahmed El-Tayeb, Head of the Coptic Orthodox Church Pope Tawadros II, and several ministers and governors.
