The GEM Talks series features a variety of interactive formats, from dialogues and discussions to interactive panel discussions and thought-provoking debates.
The CEO of the GEM Authority, Ahmed Ghoneim, emphasized that the launch of the GEM Talks series represents a new chapter in their ongoing efforts to make the museum not just an exceptional showcase for Egypt’s rich history, but also a vital space for cultural and historical dialogue.
He noted that this series opens horizons for dialogue on diverse topics rooted in our shared heritage, as it aims to create an open platform that brings together diverse audiences to interact, reflect, and draw inspiration from the richness of culture and heritage in all its forms.
The first event of the series included a lecture by Ismail Serageldin, one of the world’s most prominent thinkers in culture and innovation.
The discussion addressed creativity, the role of museums in shaping awareness, the impact of artificial intelligence on artistic expression, and the development of innovative digital solutions that enhance the visitor experience within the museum.
The event was attended by a group of foreign ambassadors to Egypt, former ministers, public figures, and those interested in heritage, culture, and antiquities.
