Sisi asserts importance of responsible decision-making

President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi greeted the Egyptian people and all participants and guests at the “Land of Peace” ceremony, held on Saturday at the City of Arts and Culture in the New Administrative Capital.

Addressing them during the event, Sisi said he had expected difficult days for the Palestinian brothers in Gaza since the war began in the Palestinian strip.

He emphasized the importance of responsible decision-making.

After two years of war and displacement attempts, what happened in Gaza has clearly demonstrated the importance of responsible decision-making, President Sisi noted during the “Land of Peace” ceremony, stressing that the greater the risk, the greater the responsibility for decisions

“I have always said that we are certain that Allah Almighty will stand by us, and that one day the problem will end and there will be a way out,” the President said, adding that he was only reassured by the fact that “we are acting in the interest of peace, our people, and the Palestinians.”

Alluding to the Sharm El Sheikh Peace Summit, during which a peace deal was signed earlier this month to end the war in Gaza, Sisi said, “What happened in Sharm El-Sheikh was a great blessing from Allah Almighty.”

Sisi directed the ministries of education, youth and sports, and other ministries to organize trips for young people to Sinai to raise their awareness of the state’s achievements in such a precious piece of land.
