The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) expects temperatures to continue their gradual rise on Saturday across most of the country, with slightly hot autumn weather prevailing during the day.
Temperatures will grow mild in the early evening and cooler in the late evening and early morning.
The EMA announced a drop in temperatures across the country on Monday, and a chance of intermittent rain in several governorates due to the influence of a low-pressure system.
Some low clouds are expected over areas from the northern coast to Greater Cairo, the Suez Canal cities, and central Sinai.
Weather maps predict a chance of light rainfall in parts of Halayeb and Shalateen at intervals, and dust-raising winds in some areas.
Winds are expected in parts of southern Egypt and South Sinai, which may occasionally stir up dust and sand.
Dusty winds are also expected in some areas of southern Egypt (Aswan, Luxor, and the southern Red Sea region) and parts of the Western Desert, with wind activity reducing horizontal visibility.
Expected temperatures for Saturday:
- Matrouh: 25C
- Alexandria: 29C
- Hurghada: 31C
- Sharm El-Sheikh: 32C
- Cairo: 33C
- Luxor and Aswan: 36C
