Winter is just hours away in Egypt, with temperatures expected to drop across the country, reaching their lowest point and dropping to 0C in Saint Catherine.
The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) forecasts moderate temperatures during the day across most of the country on Saturday, while night will be very cold.
Weather maps warn of morning fog, which may be dense at times, on some roads leading to and from northern Egypt, including Greater Cairo, northern Upper Egypt, and central Sinai.
Horizontal visibility will be reduced in some areas of Lower Egypt and the northwestern coast.
There is a slight chance of light rainfall in parts of the northwestern coast and northern Lower Egypt.
Weather maps also indicate wind activity along parts of the western coast, which may stir up sand and dust in the far west.
Temperatures expected on Saturday:
- Cairo, Alexandria, and Matrouh: 21C
- Hurghada, Aswan: 22C
- Sharm El-Sheikh: 23C
- Luxor: 25C
