The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) forecasts very cold weather on Tuesday morning, with temperatures becoming slightly warm during the day.
Very cold weather will prevail at night across most of the country.
Mists are expected in the morning, which may be dense at times on some roads leading to and from northern Egypt, including Greater Cairo, northern Upper Egypt, and central Sinai.
There is a chance of light rainfall in parts of the northwestern coast and northern Lower Egypt at intervals.
The authority also noted intermittent wind activity in parts of the northwestern coast.
Expected temperatures for Tuesday:
- Alexandria and Matrouh: 19C
- Cairo: 20C
- Hurghada: 21C
- Sharm El-Sheikh: 22C
- Luxor and Aswan: 23C
