Six players officially leave Al-Ahly after losing the league title

Al-Ahly’s first football team concluded its season after playing Al-Masry on Wednesday evening in the seventh and final round of the league championship playoffs.

The Red Devils won 2-0, finishing the season in third place with 53 points.

Following the Masry match, several Ahly players left due to the expiration of their contracts.

Among them was Malian midfielder Aliou Dieng, who will join Valencia in Spain on a free transfer at the start of next season, after a seven-year stint with the Red Devils.

The contracts of Hussein al-Shahat and Ahmed Nabil “Koka” with Ahly have expired, and club officials have yet to reach an agreement with the duo regarding contract renewals.

Ahmed Ramadan “Beckham” and Marwan Osman also departed after their loan spells from Ceramica Cleopatra FC ended.

Angolan striker Camoise has left after his loan spell from Norwegian club Tromsø ended.
