
Egypt’s table tennis star Hana Goda clinched the gold medal in the women’s singles event at the Taranto 2026 Mediterranean Games, adding a new milestone to her decorated athletic career.
Goda secured the gold medal after beating France’s Xiaoxin Yang 4-1 to claim the top spot on the podium.
She also won a silver medal in the mixed doubles competition, competing alongside teammate Omar Assar of the men’s national team.With this achievement, Goda continues to make history for Egyptian table tennis, reinforcing her status among the sport’s leading stars and continuing her journey of winning medals to raise Egypt’s flag high on international podiums.
