The military courts issued 21 sentences ranging between five years and life imprisonment for suspects who were convicted of thuggery, possession of weapons, attempted murder and vandalism of public property.
Several human rights organizations had earlier this month condemned the trial of civilians before military courts.
They said that all international conventions signed by Egypt confirm that it did not adhere to standards of fair trial, which are mandatory even in times of emergency.
Hundreds of civilians have appeared before military courts in Egypt since the outbreak of the 25 January Revolution.
