Suez Canal revenues in February of this year have risen by 16.3 percent compared to the same month last year, according to a government report issued Tuesday.
The report, produced by the Information and Decision Support Center, said February revenues this year amounted to US$388.7 million, up from US$334.1 million in 2010.
An earlier government report issued at the beginning of March had pointed out a 1.6 percent decline in Suez Canal revenues for January of this year compared to January 2010.
