Abbas: Al Jazeera doesn’t have secrets on peace process

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said he was amazed at reports by Qatari satellite TV channel Al Jazeera on secret documents regarding the situation in Palestine and peace process.

“Arabs are informed in detail on all we did with Israelis and Americans,” said Abbas, according to state news agency MENA. “I don’t know from where Al Jazeera obtained such secret documents. Nothing is hidden from Arabs. Whenever anything happens, we contact a number of countries and Amr Moussa [Arab League Secretary-General] to inform them about what’s going on.”

Abbas clarified that the Palestinian Authority informs Arabs of developments “through the Arab Peace Initiative Committee, bilateral communications or through the Arab League secretary-general who knows everything and always informs others on situation developments."
