Norhan Hefzy, wife of the activist Ahmed Douma, has said that the Forensic Medicine Department refused to give her a copy of the medical report of her husband after the recent medical examination carried out on him, without giving any justification.
Douma, according to Hefzy, was supposed to do several medical analysis, however, the prison administration refused to let him out as the court decided on Wednesday not to let him without its prior decision for the sake of his health conditions.
Hefzy called on President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to respond to her recent message that she sent to him demanding release of her husband on health grounds.
Douma faces charges of breaking protest law and rioting during the Shura Council incidents last November as well as the cabinet clashes in 2011.
