Egyptian actor Asser Yassin revealed the details of his new series, “Etnen Gherna,” (Two Others), coming as part the 2026 Ramadan drama season.
According to the actor, the series will offer a unique romantic drama experience within the Ramadan television lineup, expressing his hope that viewers will connect with the details of the work and its characters.
In an interview with dmc channel, Yassin said that what attracted him to participate in the series was its unique script and overall atmosphere.
“The script is different, the atmosphere is great, and I haven’t done anything romantic for Ramadan before, and that’s what excited me,” he explained.
Yassin added that the character he portrays is going through a period of psychological pain, and finds salvation through love.
He indicated that the series will present a unique drama that he hopes will appeal to audiences.
The series stars Yassin, Dina al-Sherbiny, Hanady Mehanna, Sabreen al-Negili, Ahmed Hassan, Fadwa Adel, Yasmina al-Abd, Nardine Farag, and Mohamed al-Sewesy, along with some guest stars.
The series is produced by Media Hub, written by Rana Abul-Reesh, and directed by Khaled al-Halfawy.
