Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation Alaa Farouq left for Romania to take part in the meetings of the Egyptian- Romanian high-level technical committee that will convene in Bucharest.
Egyptian Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation Rania al-Mashat will chair the meetings of the joint committee.
The agriculture minister is due to sign the blueprint of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Egypt and Romania on agricultural cooperation and relevant activities, including high-yield seed production, livestock production, joint research projects and plant health.
Farouq’s itinerary in Bucharest includes holding talks with Romanian agricultural officials on enhancing cooperation between the two countries.
