AOI Chairman, Polish ambassador discuss boosting industrial partnership

Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI), Mokhtar Abdel Latif, discussed on Thursday, May 21, 2026, with Polish ambassador to Cairo, Michał Murkociński, ways of benefiting from AOI’s advanced manufacturing capabilities and Poland’s expertise in both defense and civilian industries.

Talks covered potential cooperation in the automotive, railway, environmentally friendly transport, electronics, digital transformation, software, communications, information technology, renewable energy, water treatment, medical industries, furniture, and other manufacturing sectors.

During the meeting, AOI presented its vision on the importance of investment, increasing local manufacturing content, and transferring and localizing technology, including training human cadres in line with digital manufacturing mechanisms.

Abdel Latif said the AOI is looking forward to enhancing joint cooperation and expanding investment and partnership opportunities in new industrial fields, affirming the organization’s welcome for cooperation with Polish companies interested in investing and expanding in Egypt as a gateway to Middle Eastern, African, and Arab markets.

For his part, Murkociński said the Egyptian market is attractive to Polish investments and holds strategic importance for the African and Arab regions.

He also expressed hope that major Polish companies would visit AOI factories and affiliated firms, to explore available investment opportunities, contributing to increasing bilateral trade exchange and establishing promising industrial partnerships, investment opportunities, expertise exchange, and integration between both sides.
