The Armed Forces organized on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, its annual celebration marking the al-Mawlid al-Nabawi (a festival commemorating the birthday of Prophet Muhammad) for the Hijri year 1447.
Armed Forces commanders along with scholars from Al-Azhar and the Ministry of Awqaf attended the event.
Assistant Minister of Defense Ayman Abbas Ahmed delivered a speech on behalf of Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production Abdel Mageed Saqr, affirming that the Armed Forces will remain steadfast in defending the homeland and safeguarding its sanctities, drawing inspiration from the Prophet’s example of sacrifice, devotion, and faithfulness.
The celebration concluded with honoring winners in the annual Quran and Prophet’s biography competition, organized by the Armed Forces to foster religious awareness among its personnel and uphold moral and spiritual values.
