Bad weather forecast Sunday, Cairo 15C

Meteorologists predict a significant decrease in temperatures on Sunday across Egypt. Cold weather is expected on all parts of the country during daylight hours, growing colder by night.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are 15C in Alexandria and Cairo, 17C in Qena, 18C in Luxor, and 20C in Aswan.

Frost cover is expected on plants in central Sinai and northern Upper Egypt. Low and medium-level clouds are expected in the northern parts of the country, accompanied by rainfall on northern coasts.

Winds are expected to be mostly southwestern, active on all parts of the country, blowing up sand and dust and possibly reaching storm levels in some areas. This will lead to a decrease in horizontal visibility and increase the feeling of cold weather, and also disrupt maritime navigation in the Red Sea and the Mediterranean Sea.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea will be rough and range between 3 to 3.5 meters in height. Surface winds will be western to northwestern on the Mediterranean Sea, and northwestern on the Red Sea.
