Bahrain welcomed the ceasefire agreement concluded in the Gaza Strip, lauding the strenuous efforts exerted by Egypt to put an end to military operations in Gaza in order to prevent bloodshed, stop the loss of life and property, and maintain the region’s security and stability.
In a statement carried by state news agency BNA, the Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized the importance of concerted efforts by the international community to support the truce, prevent escalation, stop shelling and rocket attacks for the security and safety of civilians, as well as to intensify the endeavors meant to bring about comprehensive, lasting peace in the Middle East region.
