As a first step toward the implementation of an agreement signed between the Aviation Ministry and the Control Risks Company to follow up on securing Egyptian airports, a team from the British security company arrived at Hurghada International Airport on Monday to start assessment procedures.
The company will develop proposals and recommendations on increasing the efficiency of the Egyptian security system at airports, and will train security personnel at airports on the latest methods of the security systems at international airports.
The delegation inspected Hurghada's airport and the departure and arrival halls and met with the airport chief, Sadeq al-Shura, and the airport's security director, Mohamed Hassan.
Tight measures were imposed to secure the departure and arrival of tourists.
