Cairo International Airport continued to record positive growth in passenger and flight traffic during May 2026, handling more than 2.2 million travelers.
The airport received and dispatched a total of 2,225,405 passengers during the month on 17,480 flights.
Outbound traffic reached 1,060,831 passengers on 8,778 flights, while 1,164,574 arriving passengers were recorded on 8,702 flights.
Chairman of Cairo Airport Company Magdy Eshaq said Cairo International Airport continues to implement development and modernization plans to keep pace with growing air traffic and enhance its ability to provide an integrated travel experience that reflects Egypt’s regional and international standing.
