Egypt's National Weather Forecast Authority (NWFA) warned on Saturdaythat the cold front which hit Egypt this weekend will spike on Sunday.
The NWFA predicted intense temperature fluctuations and strong windsacross all regions of the country.
According to forecasts, the gusts are likely to stir up dust and sand, creating dust-storms and reducing visibility on the roads in some areas.
Heavy rains have covered northern Egypt throughout the weekend, and may extend to Cairo, Sinai, the Red Sea Hills, and northernmost parts of Upper Egypt on Sunday.
Farms in all regions may be exposed to frost.
Forecasting experts predicted that the cold front will raise ocean swells as high as 5 meters in the Mediterranean Sea, and up to 4 meters in the Red Sea.
