The Culture Ministry began implementing an agreement that will make 12,000 books available on the Internet on Friday.
It also announced that it will provide an application on mobile phones that contains activities, events and news from the ministry.
Culture Minister Abdel Wahed al-Nabawi announced that protocols will be activated using digital technology, like the Internet and telecommunications networks, to provide cultural services to Egyptians.
Nabawi added that he agreed with Communications Minister Khaled al-Negm to provide 12,000 books on the Internet.
