The dollar exchange rate was stable at the start of Sunday’s transactions, January 21st, at Egypt’s major banks.
At the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) and Banque Misr, the dollar rate registered LE 30.75 for buying and LE 30.85 for selling.
At the Commercial International Bank (CIB), the dollar exchange rate recorded LE 30.85 for buying and 30.95 for selling.
According to the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), the average dollar rate at the Egyptian market registered LE 30.82 for buying and LE 30.95 for selling.
The euro price registered LE 33.41 for buying and LE 33.61 for selling at Banque Misr and the NBE.
The euro price at the CIB amounted to LE 33.52 for buying and LE 33.73 for selling.
According to the CBE, the average euro rate at the Egyptian market registered LE 33.56 for buying and LE 33.72 for selling.
The pound sterling at the NBE and Banque Misr registered LE 38.93 for buying and LE 39.22 for selling.
At the CIB, the pound sterling exchange rate amounted to LE 39.06 for buying and LE 39.34 for selling.
According to the CBE, the average pound sterling rate at the Egyptian market registered LE 39.09 for buying and LE 39.27 for selling.
The Saudi riyal price stood at LE 8.19 for buying and LE 8.22 for selling at the NBE.
