The General Traffic Department in Cairo announced the closure of 26th of July street in downtown Cairo for one year as part of the work on the third Metro line which will run from Imbaba to Cairo Airport, in coordination with the National Authority for Tunnels.
The street will be closed from the Talaat Harb street intersection up to Ramsis street.
A security source said the closure will take place from Thursday until May 17, 2018. Signs have been put up to prevent accidents.
