Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed Salah Eldin Mostafa discussed avenues of cooperation with Angolan Minister of National Defense and Veterans João Ernesto dos Santos.
Mostafa described Egyptian-Angolan relations as strong, strategic, and with a longstanding history of constructive partnership.
He reviewed the manufacturing, technological, technical, and human resources capabilities of Egypt’s Military Production companies and units, which serve as the cornerstone of Egypt’s military manufacturing.
The two sides explored potential areas for cooperation in various fields of manufacturing.
The Angolan minister praised the strong friendship and fraternal ties between Egypt and Angola, commending Cairo’s active regional and international role, particularly its efforts in combating terrorism, addressing African issues, and promoting development and peace on the continent.
He lauded the Ministry of Military Production’s role in supplying the Egyptian Armed Forces with ammunition, weapons, equipment, and advanced electronic systems, manufactured with the latest technologies.
Dos Santos noted the interest of many Angolan companies in collaborating with Egypt’s military production companies, given their distinguished manufacturing and technical capabilities and their crucial role in localizing advanced technologies in various fields of production, making them one of Egypt’s key industrial arms.
He also appreciated the ministry’s efforts in establishing fruitful strategic partnerships in both military and civilian sectors with global companies and organizations.
