
Egypt on Sunday, September 21st, 2025, strongly condemned the deadly attack on a mosque in the city of El Fasher, Sudan, which left dozens killed and injured.
In a statement, the foreign ministry described the assault as a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and denounced the targeting of places of worship and civilians amid the ongoing conflict.
“Egypt extends its condolences to the victims’ families and the Sudanese government and people, and expresses hope for an end to the conflict to preserve lives and safeguard the country’s stability.”
