Egypt condemned in the strongest terms the terrorist attack which targeted a military barracks in Djibouti.
The assault on the base in Garabtisan in the north of the Horn of Africa nation left seven soldiers killed and several others injured.
“Egypt extends its deepest condolences and sincere sympathy for the government and people of Djibouti as well as the families of the victims, and wishes the injured a speedy recovery,” said the Foreign Ministry in a statement Sunday.
