The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has denied the claims made by Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, commander of the Rapid Support Forces, regarding the involvement of Egyptian aircraft in the ongoing battles in neighboring Sudan.
The ministry stated that these claims come amid Egypt’s intensive efforts to cease the war, protect civilians, and strengthen the international response to humanitarian aid plans for those affected by the ongoing war in neighboring Sudan.
The ministry affirmed that, while Egypt denies these claims, it calls on the international community to verify the evidence that proves the truth of what the commander of the Rapid Support Forces has stated.
Egypt emphasizes its keenness on the security, stability, and unity of neighboring Sudan, land and people, and stresses that it will spare no effort to provide all means of support to its brothers in Sudan to confront the severe damage resulting from this heinous war.
