Egypt has entered a new era of nuclear energy, Presidential Spokesperson Ahmed Fahmy said.
Speaking to Sada El Balad TV channel, he added on Tuesday 23/1/2024 that Egypt will be able to overcome all economic crises with its strong determination and willpower.
The state is keen to accomplish development in various domains, he said, stressing that President Abdel Fattah El Sisi issued directives to ease financial burdens shouldered by citizens as soon as possible.
Egypt has a strong infrastructure that enables it to attract investments from all over the world, he said, highlighting many achievements it has made under Sisi’s rule.
President Sisi and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin witnessed on Tuesday23/1/2024 a ceremony to start pouring the foundation concrete of electricity unit no 4. of the Dabaa nuclear power plant.
Fahmy congratulated the Egyptian people on this great step.
