The General Authority for Supply of Commodities (GASC) will buy 175,000 tons of wheat from Russia and Ukraine to produce subsidized bread.
The wheat will be delivered during the period from September 21 to 30.
The shipments include 175,000 tons from Ukraine and 60,000 tons from Russia for $194.74 per ton, deputy head of GASC Mamdouh Abdel Fattah said.
