Youth Minister Khaled Abdel Aziz praised the Banha University’s folklore team for its performance at the International Folklore Festival in Greece.
Banha University President Ali Shams Eddin said the team met with the president of the met with the president of the Ioannina University to discuss a protocol of cooperation.
Banha University Vice President Suleiman Mostafa said the team presented nine performances at the festival, in addition to folk dances in the main streets and squares, where people admired them and raised the Egyptian flag to greet them.
The team had won the first prize of the Sharjah Creativity Festival the last two years.
