The Egyptian stock exchange rebounded in Monday’s session supported by local institutions' and retail investors' buying appetite.
The EGX30 Index closed, up by 0.92 percent, recording 9,459.6 points on a total turnover of LE757 million.
The broader index EGX70 rose 0.79 percent to 633.71 points. EGX100 rose 0.76 percent to 1,144.43 points.
Local institutions and retail investors, finishing the session with a net buyers LE23.79 million and 15.91 million respectively.
While, Arab and foreign institutions were net sellers with net flow of LE29.79 million and LE13.47 million respectively.
Meanwhile, market capitalization gained LE5.7 billion (US$790 million) to close at LE529,594 billion compared to LE523.9 billion on Sunday.
